SCHOOLS AND SUMMER COLONIES

GUIDED TOUR IN KAYAK AND GAMES SESSION!

The activity is done in double kayaks. Double kayaks are safe and very stable boats ideal for group activities. After having explained the basic technique of paddling, and heating, we will embark to make a fun games session, sailing through the Reservoir of Llosa del Cavall.

This offer is aimed at students from: Primary, ESO First Cycle, ESO Second Cycle and Baccalaureate.

The activity is conducted by our Instructors (Sports Technicians qualified by the RFEP and Sports Educators) from the beginning to the end of it.

INFORMATION

All you need to know

DURATION

3 hours with the following timing:

½ hour: preparation, delivery of material and briefing.
2 hours of activity to water.
½ hour: arrival, delivery of material and change.

DIDACTIC OBJECTIVE

Learn to navigate in kayak. Driving the boat safely.

MAIN CONTENTS

Knowledge of the sport modality of Canoeing: KAYAK in the specialty of Calm Waters.

Material necessary for the development of sport.

Knowledge of the different technical elements that we use in navigation, safety and its characteristics.

Kayaking games session (dynamic balance work).

IT INCLUDES

All the necessary technical material (Kayak, Paddle and life jacket, ..)

Monitors qualified by the R.F.E.P. , Technicians conducting activities in the natural environment.

RC insurance and accident insurance and assistance.

REQUIREMENTS

It is essential to know how to swim.

ALL YOU NEED: Swimsuit, towel, shirt, hat, sunscreen and spare clothes.

The footwear must be aquatic or we have the possibility of going barefoot inside the kayak.

On cool days it is advisable to wear thermal and waterproof t-shirts windproof or pants type tracksuit.

It is not advisable wear glasses in canoeing. Fix them if necessary.

PRICE

14 € / person.

We consider the ratio of an educator of the school group, free for every 15 students, the appropriate one to assess the activity while it is being carried out. Even so we offer the possibility of adding as many companions as the group requests us. You just have to communicate the number of companions in advance. The rate of the companions will be the one applied to the students. The companions will be part of the group without going on their own and will participate actively in the development of the activity.

Minimum group 25 students.

The activity takes place in the months of April, May, June, July, September and October.

Registered as KAYAKING SCHOOL in 2007 in the Census of Organizers of Physical-Sports Activities in the Natural Environment (Catalan Council of Sports) with nº C-115.
